1. The Veterinary Regulations 2006: Effective from 1st
June 2006 and it supersedes all previous Veterinary Regulations.

2. The FEI Equine Prohibited List: This includes the list
of substances and methods that are prohibited in-competition.
The substances are classified as Doping agents, Prohibited
substances (Medication Class A & B), Threshold Substances.

3. The Equine Anti-Doping and Medication Rules ("EADMC
Rules"): These rules prevent any attempt to alter a horse's
performance or to mask any underlying health problem. In
addition, provides appropriate treatment to safeguard the
health & welfare of competition horses. It comes into effect
from 1st June 2006. The Rules are available for download

4. Guidelines for Equine Influenza : Since 1st JAN 2005,
the FEI Equine Influenza requirement has been changed to
biannual vaccination. Failure to abide by the rules leads
to penalty and in some cases removing the horse from the
ride site.
