Stage set for Trade Fair Horse Exhibition in Moscow |
The Trade Fair Horse Exhibition is set to start in Moscow on
Aug 15.
The Trade Fair Exhibition , which will run till August 24 has
joint support of the UAE Racing and Equestrian Federation
(UAEERF) , Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian
Exhibition, Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority, Abu
Dhabi Equestrian Club, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and the Abu
Dhabi Sports Council.
One of the aims of hosting the exhibition is to enhance the
global image of the UAE in general and Abu Dhabi in
particular. The organizers say they are happy with the
arrangements and optimistic that the event will be a great
success.
The exhibition is being promoted by UAE’s two leading realtors
-- Hydra Properties and Serouh Real Estate PJSC.
Sultan Abdullah Al Marzouqi, secretary general of the UAEERF
said the equine sport has greatly progressed by virtue of the
unlimited support given by President His Highness Sheikh
Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin
Rashid Al Maktoum,Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of
Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahayn, Crown Prince of
Abu Dhabi and Deputy Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces and
other rulers
Al Marzouki added that the chairman of the UAE Equestrian and
Racing Federation His Excellency Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa
Al Nahyan also has been playing a pivotal role in the growth
of the sports in this part of the world.
Al Marzouqi said that this was a great opportunity for UAE in
general and Abu Dhabi in particular to show cause the
developmental projects going on in the city of Abu Dhabi,
apart from a boost to the equestrian activities that the UAE
is popular all over the world. Marzouqi went on to say that
this event is being attended by several international
equestrian organizations from all over the world and it is
very prestigious for the UAE Federation to be associated with
such a huge event. He said that it was all the more eventful
as the UAE Federation is running the 14th the year of His
Highness the President of the UAE Championship Derby for
Purebred Arabian horses in major European cities and the US.
Events like the Moscow Exhibitions will give more exposure to
the country and which will result in mutual benefit for the
participating countries and the bilateral ties will have a
upswing.
He took the opportunity to thank the sponsors who have come
forward to support the trade exhibition apart from sponsoring
several equestrian events in the season.

sponsored the exhibition. Our thanks to all those individuals
who have put in much effort in organizing the exhibition so
successfully," said Al Mazrouqi.
Al Marzouqi added that the vastness of the subjects coming
under the preview of the exhibition was amazing. This includes
horses and ponies as well as stud, sport, koumiss,
participation of Equestrian federations, associations, unions,
societies, horse breeding and equestrian sport in the regions,
designing and building of equestrian complexes and hippodromes
and veterinary facilities, with all of these helping the
participating organizations to learn more in the respective
fields.
There will also opportunities to see some of the finest
specimens of Purebred Arabian horses also.
UAE's support for equestrian e sports have reflected
positively on the image of the country world wide and at the
same time it has also opened up new business opportunities
Continuing in their strong support worldwide Hydra Properties
and Sorouh Real Estate PJC is once again in the forefront in
this particular event.
Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim said: "We are proud to be associated with
prestigious equine sport which has close ties with the
cultural fabric of the nation and we are always to keen to
support such events that promote the status of the country at
regional and international levels.

of the purebred Arabian horses and help increasing the appeal
world wide of a company that is leading in the new wave of

Meanwhile, the Federation will release a souvenir on this
occasion which will give an account of the UAE’s culture,
heritage, developments and equestrian sports.
A delegation from the UAE representing all those who are
involved in the forthcoming events will attend both the Trade
Fair Horse Exhibition and the President of the UAE
Championship Derby.
Undoubtedly the events will enhance the global image of the
UAE in general and Abu Dhabi particularly in terms of overseas
business opportunities also.
